photographer profile #8: Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith, asmith photography, 21, Atlanta, USA

Who are you?
My name is Aaron Smith. I’m 21 years old. I’m originally from Kansas City but now I live in Atlanta, GA going to photography school. My main source of income is selling photos at this point.

Where are you right now?
I’m answering these questions from the comfort of my bed while talking on the phone with Maddie Phillips. She thinks I should make up all these answers because she thinks it would be funny.

What’s your current camera set up?
My current camera set up consist of a Canon 5D, Hasselblad 501c, Nikon D2H, and a Holga.

What’s your current skateboard set up?
I recently broke my foot about 3 weeks ago so I haven’t looked at my board in a while but here’s what I remember. Habitat Danny Garcia board, Thunder trucks, old Malto Spitfire wheels, and a mix match of everything else.

What inspires you?
Lots of stuff! Both skateboard related and art related. Magazines, books, music, skate videos, movies, friends, and stuff like that. I get real pumped watching either Ryan Lovell’s new Kansas City video Fourteen Deep or Chris Thiessen’s new Atlanta video Meanwhile. All the new Lakai stuff gets me pretty pumped. Stuff like that I guess.
